To address this challenge, we propose developing a centralized dashboard and database for the testing pump facility, inspired by our advanced water monitoring solution. This system will employ state-of-the-art sensors and technology to monitor pump performance and testing parameters in real-time. The centralized dashboard will provide actionable insights and alerts, optimizing the testing process, detecting issues early, and enhancing efficiency. This approach will reduce the need for continuous manual monitoring, streamline operations, and ensure a more efficient and reliable testing environment.

Challenges
It’s a challenging yet important task to monitor the water consumption data in real-time, thus the client seeks an IoT-driven water flow monitoring system for two meters, to efficiently monitor water consumption.
The meter data shall be stored on their server for real-time data monitoring. This integrated solution should ensure accurate monitoring of water usage, while providing immediate access to live data through the government server portal (National Informatics Center) for easy monitoring and cost evaluation.
The main challenges to formulating the right solution were, selecting accurate and compatible converters and smart gateways, and building such software that will accurately provide live data of the water flow meters and immediate access to the NIC server for cost consumption.
Solution
OTI provided solution is designed to process, store, analyze and represent the real-time data of the water consumption.
- The solution software will be deployed on their local server and will push the data to the government NIC server in NoSQL form.
- OTI had provided the entire solution on a turnkey basis and was also be responsible for the procurement and delivery of the required hardware, i.e. the accurate and exactly required data converters and smart gateways.
Using standard hardware of the right configuration and developing the software with the industry standard tech stack, ensures accurate monitoring of water usage. An add-on benefit is that this solution, both hardware and software, provides a better chance for future use if there is an extension in the number of the same application.
Using this solution the user can visualize data in real time and download reports in a couple of popularly utilized formats. This data is represented in the form of graphs and charts which are easy to interpret and can be used for further study of the process. The user friendly GUI allows any operator to understand the system and can operate with basic guidelines and understanding.
